Meet our NDIS team
Our team is aware that informing families, carers and services providers in preparation for the NDIS implementation in Queensland is critical to the scheme’s success.
Kirsti Trevor and Emma Rees are working with the NDIS participant readiness team at Carers Queensland in a project management and training capacity. Responsible for the design and development of workshops and resources they are both determined to assist families and carers maximise the opportunities that the NDIS presents for people with a disability.
- Kirsti Trevor joins the team with a Bachelor of Health Science majoring in Health Information Management. For nearly 15 years, she has worked on a number of projects within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities around Queensland in areas of health promotion, education, training and workforce development. - Emma Rees holds a Bachelor of Arts with majors in Public Relations and Communications, Certificate in Public Participation (Community Engagement) and a Diploma of Population Health.
